About Us

One-Eighty is a church sponsered by a UW-Oshkosh campus ministry, His House Christian Fellowship.

HishouselogoHis House began in 2001 on the campus of the University of Wisconsin/Oshkosh under the direction and vision of Jeremy and Lori Rush. Their ministry has had a real and enduring impact on the lives of many students who’ve attended UW Oshkosh. His House has two campus ministry houses near the Oshkosh campus and recently opened a third house near the University of Wisconsin campus in Madison. 

One-Eighty brings a much-needed church presence to the UW Oshkosh campus for Sunday mornings and gives One-Eighty the space and personnel to expand for the future. Our goal is to reach out both on campus and off campus in order to introduce people to God’s great love through Jesus Christ. 

 

What We Believe

  • We believe in the Holy Scriptures including the canonical books in the Old and New Testaments, that they are divinely inspired and revealed.
  • We believe in the inerrancy of the Scriptures and submit to them as the infallible authority in matters of life and faith.
  • We believe that God reveals Himself in the Scriptures as triune: three distinct persons of the Godhead. He is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the doctrine of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
  • We believe in the sacraments of water baptism and communion (The Lord's Supper).
  • We believe in the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and the eternal, blessed estates of all those who put their trust in Him in this life.
  • We believe in the unity of the Body of Christ (the church) and the endeavor to encourage that unity by reaching out to believers in all segments of the Christian community.
